An Excel-based scheduler for hourly and salaried employees, developed for use in a restaurant although it should fit most situations where you have hourly employees, or a salaried manager overseeing hourly employees. Allows you to schedule employee hours as a percentage of your anticipated revenue, and then print out the schedule. For example, if you want to hold hourly wages to 16% of anticipated sales, all you do is 1) enter 16% in the appropriate field, and 2) put in your estimate of what that week's sales will be. The scheduler then decrements hours that are available, as you create your schedule. Very simple to use and customizable to your specific needs using Excel. Employee Scheduler for Excel requires that you have Microsoft Excel installed. It is a simple, easy and cost effective alternative to the expensive "scheduling systems" that often have more features than a very small business will ever use. Works well across virtually any currency, and the currency symbol is easily changed using standard Excel formatting options.

The Employee Scheduler is an affordable spreadsheet to help you schedule hourly employees and manage your labor costs as a percentage of sales. (Requires Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice to run).

My Manager is Salaried.

There is a row for scheduling a salaried manager's hours. The hours you schedule the manager are not subtracted from the available hours. If your manager is salaried, just close this row and put the manager in an hourly row.

Do you Support this software?

We provided very limited email support. We do not coach people on Excel, or give advice on how to make modifications. We will, however, fix attempt to correct legitimate errors that are reported. We are always open for feature suggestions. If you have some simple requests for adjusting the scheduler, we may be able to accommodate you for a small fee.
