In the thread as listed below I requested help to coreect the coding when I moved several groups of cells.
I have managed to set the correct cells location in some of the coding, however when I select a word it
moves it and reset counters and such, BUT does not highlight the cells to show that it has been acted on.
See cells R3 down and accross, I trust you can make sense of what I am asking for.

Hi all I am just out of surgery for my eyes so I cannot see all the best.
On the attached file I wish to move the data in cell B1 across to cell AF1
then move cell b8 to B34 inclusive up to B1
and adjust the coding to compensate for all of the moves

Do you have any conclusions as why the cells in the Finder fault file highlighted in yellow will not allow to be selected. ??

Something I thought of is to move all the words in the Cell B1 to another
sheet and Hide that sheet, but still do the removal as each word is found
I just noticed today that when the code finds a word it transfer that word down to B34,
On another matter NO Matter what I change cells highlighted in yellow still does not find in both X & Y diections.

With thanks to Justin he has added more to my original file that I had envisaged at first.
What the file is about it is a word finder, some of the words MAY have multiple choices of words available.
In his code he recognizes a group of letters forming a word, it then colours in the appropriate
cells and copies the word down to Cell B34 and sorts and counts the number of correct words from the total
that is listed up in cell B1, which I have listed once all of the are completed.
On the sheet you will see several coloured cells, as an example the words ( Man, Mankind, Kin, Kind,)
this type of structure is available in many circumstances.
What Justin's code only allows us to be able to select the first word of a possible multiple words being selected eg:
Man, Mankind is now able to be selected.
Last night Justin recommended that I post the file with an explanation to see if anyone here can come up with
a solution, He thinks it may some sort of dictionary.
Please text me if any clarifications is needed.

The latest coding does that alphabetically sort the data on sheet 4 please

1/ I refer to the top of sheet 3 where I have manually entered the words you can see the auto spacing between words. See the attached Excel file.
2/ I refer to your latest code it is missing the Set upper case code See my comment in the code
3/ Anytime I enter any words other than in cell AD6 I get a error message see the attached .Doc file

I am doing all this with one eye as I have severe cataracts in both eyes and most left eye is useless,
At last the Local Government has allowed hospitals to start surgery again, I get mine done on the 1st and 4th of June
I am hoping for better sight ?????
Now back to coding how much code would be involved in in duplicating the data from the sheet 4 into sheet 3 cells B1 to AA5 with a space inbetween each word, if it is too much then I will make a macro.

That works for me I will create a macro to copy these words back onto Sheet 3 cells B1 to AA5, what would be the code to capitalise each first letter for each word please

What I have in mind is to create a word finder template for the wife, and what I am doing is to set up a matrix of squares 26x26 and i n the various cells I will create a random word, once I have completed each page i have to create a listing on the top of each page of ALL the words used so she can cross them out as she finds them.
Having achieved all of that I wish to make up a listing of each word used, so as I add a word ( say for arguments sake ) into Sheet 3 which is now all cells are in black and white the master sheet each new word is coloured in a different colour so I can see what is where,
On sheet 3 cell AD5 I add a word from the listing that word gets automatically moved to Sheet 4 Cell C4, and when I change the word on sheet 3 to a new one it gets added below Sheet 4 Cell c4 down to cell C5 and so on thereby creating a listing of all the words used.
I trust this long winded explanation may help.
Is there a way for the following
In the temp attached file is on the Sheet 1 when I enter a random word
in cell C6, It automatically transfers to sheet 2 say in column D6 and the
next word is added BELOW in D7 the next is added to cell D8 below the
previous word and so on.
What I am trying to achieve is when I change the word in sheet 1, C6 lets say, the last word was
" This " was moved to Sheet2 cell D6, the next word is " Now ", it checks what is in D6 so if the new
word is different to the cell D6 , it is moved to Sheet 2 Cell D7, then the next new word checks to
see what the previous cell in this case the word in sheet 2 cell D7, and so on.
Basically I am trying to create a dictionary of the words being used in the sheet.
