OK, so I go to the VBE, Insert: User Form. A brand new form flashes up, occupies about a ninth of the right-hand window. The frame is barely visible over it and to the left, but not to the right nor underneat. The corner and center of side/top resize boxes are there, but don't do a thing. I can not resize (nor move, for that matter) the frame which the box is in at all, and I can not therefore make the userform any larger. I can stick the calendar user control in it and stretch it portion by portion so it is well larger than the user form, which now acts like a little window to view a portion of the calendar (or whatever you create on the form). Besides wanting to take a hammer to my computer, what am I doing wrong/can't seem to figure out so I can increase the size of both the frame and the user form?

Re: User Form won't allow resize
I am acheiving new heights in density.
Yes, the height and width settings do acheive what I want to do, but for the life of me, I can not find the "sliders" that effect the corresponding actions. This is embarassing.

Re: User Form won't allow resize
Are you trying to change the size in the VB Editor. IF you are click on the Form & you will see litle white boxesin the border, grab then & drag as you would a Drw-awing object. Or set the Height & Width Properties in the Properties Window., or by code

Re: User Form won't allow resize
Ok. I have a nice graphic to explain, but can seem to shrink in down small enough so I will try to do this in text.
1. The new form: should be small eoungh to grab the bottom right sizing dot. (there are 9 of these, the ones the in the center just do longer/wider, the ones on the corners do both)
2. Drag the corner as big as it will go. Your mouse will disapear behind things. Don't let go of the dot. Just drag really big. Pretend to drag the mouse down to your toes and off to the right.
3. There should be two sliders that appear. You can then use them to see the dragging dots again.
4. Repeat. It will only do a little at a time now

Re: User Form won't allow resize
fengore: Exactly what I thought and have been trying to do, but A) I do NOT have the resizing frame nor boxes on bottom nor right side, only the top and left side, and B) the idiot cursor does NOT change nor does it allow any sort of grab on the ones I am able to see.
I must have some setting wrong somewhere... Man, am I going to feel stupid once I do find it...

Re: User Form won't allow resize
Does it resize if you use a variation of the code that I gave you?
Is the problem occurring in all workbooks or hust the one?
Have you tried using your Office CD & repairing Excel?

Re: User Form won't allow resize
Resizing code works perfectly. Just as in the workbook I was tinkering with, the userform in the resizing workbook does not have bottom nor right resizers, will try running the repair!
