I import a lot of text data into excel (later to be pasted into another program that's based on Access).
The data I capture has Artists' names in it like: "Kylie Minogue" but I need to go through manually and change these to the format required in their ultimate destination. For example, this would need to be changed to "Minogue, Kylie" .
So, you see, I need to delete the first word (Kylie) AND the white space following it then append the deleted word to the second word (Minogue) but adding a coma & a space in between.
Hope that's clear enough
Ideally, I'd like to be able to select the cell that has the data in it, press a button & Hey Presto! "Kylie Minogue" is magically transformed into "Minogue, Kylie".
I expect a macro is the way to do it but my attempts so far have proved useless, just keeps doing the 'recorded' conversion instead of operating on the data in the selected cell!
Can anyone help?
