I have a column (F) with a formula that generates a date. I need the cell adjacent to it (Column G) to not format a color (green), when adjacent cell F is blank.

What is your current conditional format formula?

The cells in column G are set to turn green if the date in G is greater than F and Red if its after todays date.

Change the Green condition to use a formula instead,,,
=AND($F3<>"",$G3>=$F3)
