Hello,
Which column do you need to add ..???
-
Sorry ... just noticed you meant you do need to insert the Step Sequence column just after the Job Code ...
-
Just found out your are not even using the latest ' optimized ' version of the macro ...
Anyway ... there is a question pending about Column C in the Input : the Column labelled ' Step Name '
1. Should it labelled as ' English ' and included as one of the Languages ...
or
2. Should it be totally ignored ... which could lead to some important confusion when reading the final result ...
Your decision ...
-
Yes the English should be ignored but if it is easier i can delete column C from the input tab before clicking on the macro.
-
-
OK ... will quickly review your macro and make the required modifications ...
-
Carim was there a particular course you did to learn how to create these macros?
-
Attached is your macro adjusted with your new requirements
Hope this will help
Edit : ... create which macros ... ?
-
Unfortunately it stops at oArray(j + k, 4) = iArray(i, 4 + k) I think it is my fault as this is for 1841 rows and courses for this macro in particular.
-
Question 1 : can you run the test file ???
Question 2 : what have you done to adapt the macro to your real-life file ???
Question 3 : Structurally speaking, what are the differences between the Test file you posted and your real-life file ???
-
-
so the test file works as it should. I have not changed the macro only added more data to sheet 1 (Input)
-
If I may ...just more rows cannot prevent the macro from running
For example ... since my crystal ball is broken ...
- Do you have your Row 1 showing Headers all the way from the first to the last column ???
- Do you have blank rows in between your records ???
-
Ok I will double check to see where i am going wrong. Thank you.
-
Just did a quick test with over 5'000 records ... macro runs smoothly ... in less than a second ...
-
Thanks a lot for your Thanks ...AND for the Like
