I have a spreadsheet that I want to use as a replenishment tool for stocking different parts on a rack. Depending on what needs to be ordered at the end of the day, I may need 1 item, or all the way up to 46 different items.
The first tab is where we enter the needs. I'm using a bar code scanner to enter these.
Then I have a tab called Item 1 that is basically an order sheet with information pulling from my first tab (part number, description, etc) as well as places for operators to sign when steps are completed, for that first item on the list. Then the next tab is called Item 2, which correlates to the second item on the list. This goes on for 46 tabs in the same manner.
How can I create a macro that prints out each tab that is needed, but ignoring the tabs that aren't needed. For example, I may only need 6 items today, so tabs needing to print are: Item1, Item 2, .....Item 6, then go back to the first tab and print, then end macro. But if there are 30 items listed on that first tab, it prints through Item 30 and stop.
I hope I'm explaining myself well enough. I'm inexperienced with VBA, but have learned a lot over the years. I know how to record macros and go tweak them later to suit my needs, but I don't understand the syntax yet and could never write a string of code myself without help.
