Random Rows to New Sheet

  • Hello everyone,

MODERATOR NOTICE: This topic has also been posted on other sites and may already have an answer elsewhere. Please take this into consideration when answering this question

In the attached workbook, I am trying to write a VBA Macro that will randomly select a certain amount of rows from the "OFFSHORE" and "ONSHORE" tabs and copy/paste those randomly selected rows onto a new tab.

The number of rows on the two tabs will vary each day, so I would like the macro to count the total number of rows in both tabs and randomly select 10% from OFFSHORE and 90% from the ONSHORE tab.

Once done, I would like for the macro to color the rows that were selected "Grey" in the "OFFSHORE" and "ONSHORE" tabs and place the user who ran the VBA's intials into a new column for that row.

Would anyone be willing to help me get started? I am a little experience in VBA, but this is really confusing me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
