copy formula

    I need help in attached excel.

    I need manually entered data in sheet 2 get copy in sheet 1. when in sheet 2, column b is entered "house 1" then date from sheet 2 column a goes to sheet 1 column a and amount from sheet 2 column c goes to sheet 1 column d.Book1 test1.xlsx

    I have made some changes so i am attaching a new excel book.

    I need a formula to transfer data from sheet3 to sheet1 or sheet2.

    For example, if in column b, in sheet 3, i type sheet1 then from sheet3 data in column a goes to sheet 1 column b and sheet3 column c goes to sheet1 column e.

    if in sheet3 i type sheet2 same as above but data goes on sheet2.

    in sheet 1 column a and b are dates. also in sheet3 column a is date.

    i need month on dates in column a sheet3 to match in the same row as month in column a sheet1. Book oz.xlsx

    I would appreciate if i could find a solution.

  • The example workbook is not well designed. There should be no reason to split data like that. It should all be stored on one sheet, then use the various methods available in Excel to build reports from it.
