Multiplying Time with Manhours

  • Hi
    I'm trying to calculate the total manhour cost for a job done. I'm using this formula but don't seem to get the correct answer. Can anyone please help.

    Formula Used:
    ((B30-INT(B30))*24)*58

    B30 = 56:00:00 (56 hours)
    58 = Manhour cost

    Since the time taken is more than 24 hours it is not returning the correct value, not sure if there is a way to work around.

    Please help
    thanks
    Munir

    Try using this custom format on the cell
    [h]:mm

    There are three types of people in this world.
    Those who can count and those who can't.
