  • Auto Email When Cell Reaches A Value

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Help,
I am trying to set up my spreadsheet, with a macro, to email me and my supervisor when a cell reaches a date. I have already created a countdown column so say when it reaches 10 days left I would like it to email me automatically with a notification of an event to come. I would like this to happen for columes "G5" thru "I5", and down thru row 50 as of Know. But I would like to be able to add rows when I need to. I have no VBA skills so feel free to dumb it down for me, I donít even know if this is possible. Attached is my spreadsheet.
Thanks in advance for any help from anyone.
I am willing to pay 75$ + for anyone who can write me this code so that all I need to do is copy and past it into a module.
    Thanks again.

Ok, I guess I should have included that. I use Microsoft Outlook 2003. As far as how often I’ll open the spreadsheet, probably daily although I thought I could create a task to check it when it’s not in use.
      Thanks

            Hi Dave

Would this mean that the resolution or the answers for solving the initial question asked by the OP would be hidden or a secret ? I mean, if the solution is not posted on the thread ?

Just anxious to know about it.

            Regards -Stormseed

If they correspond via email or PM, then yes.

Re: Auto Email When Cell Reaches A Value

It is a working version by now.

The Macro will run everytime the workbook is opened.
Only working for columns G H I, but rows are ranged automatically.
Will automatically send a e-mail to the addresses especified in P1 and Q1, containing all warning. After sending, will mark warnings already sent as "Sent". So probably, the first time you run you will get a lot of warnings for the ones allready old, but then it will start working properly.

Re: Auto Email When Cell Reaches A Value

Alas, I had to expand the names in Column A to be less error-prone.
