    hi
    I am on a mac. The line with <<<<< is highlighted.
    Code:
    Application.ScreenUpdating = False

    Set Dic = CreateObject("scripting.dictionary") <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

    'Create dictionary of available ports
    'Loop through sheets
    For i = 1 To wb2.Sheets.Count
    sName = wb2.Sheets(i).Name
    This is the exact steps I did:
    1/
    opened up spreadsheet_ONE and spreadsheet_two and spreadsheet_one_v1 (your file)

    2/
    on spreadsheet_one_v1, I clicked part 1, went to spreadsheet_ONE and click on cell A2 -- > this worked fine

    3/
    on spreadsheet_one_v1, I clicked part 2, went to spreadsheet_TWO, tab CP 0211 151115, click on cell N2 and got error above

      Ok it confirms what I thought. The 'dictionnary' doesn't exist on mac so I will have to code this differently.
      I will let you know as soon as it is done.

        Hello,

        Can you test this version and see if it works on your Mac?
        Thanks,

          hi,
          When I click part 1, the mac freezes and I can't seem to quit excel.
          Can we have a skype session so I can show you?

            Hi,
            Sorry for the delay responding. I'm currently on vacation with the family with limited access to a computer / internet.
            Do you still have the problem?
            If yes, did your file changed and can you send it to me? (since Part1 was working before)

                Hi trunten ,
                I don't mind your help.
                Note that I was able to test my previous code on my daughter's mac and it was working fine. That's why I asked if the input file changed.
                In any case, I'm attaching here the code that you sent by via private message in case it woud help bos1234 (made a minor modification to select input sheet).

                Hi bos1234 ,
                Please find new version of the file attached with new button for the code provided by Trunten.
                Let us know if you still have problems.

                Thanks,
