  • Filter Named Range To Userform ListBox

    Hi all,

I've written a VBA userform which pulls data from a spreadsheet for call handling. The userform has a listbox which pulls it's info in from a named range on the spreadsheet. What I'd like to do is to be able to filter the listbox for different criteria - open calls, closed calls etc, but whenever I apply a filter on the spreadsheet, the listbox pulls in the hidden data as well as the visible data.

Is what I'm trying to do possible?

Also, is there a way of building in a search function which would allow users to search the data for a specific value? I know how I would do it in excel, but I'm unsure how to do this in VBA using user forms.

N.B. I'm trying to keep to using userforms to make it more friendly for the end users, who are entirely non technical.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    TBO

Use AdvancedFilter and Copy to another location with Dynamic Named Range that your ListBox gets its RowSource from.
