  • Chart Or Graph For Room Assignment

    Hi Excel Experts!

I have an Excel sheet I use for Schedule of classes. In that sheet I have many columns like Subject, Section, Attempt, Starting Date and so on.

However only four columns are relevant to my question. (Please see the attached file, I have shown data in the attached file in only those relevant columns).

I want to make two seperate sheets (or charts) to show the usage of rooms assinged to different classes. Some classes are to be held on first three days of the week i-e Mon, Tue and Wed and some on last three days i-e Thr, Fri and Sat.

I want to setup two seperate sheets (or charts) which will show me the usage of rooms.

Please see the attached file for better understanding of my problem. I have highlighted the cells in sheet named Mon-Tue-Wed for the usage of Room 1 only.

I have found a link of web which may be modified to adjust to my problem. Here is that link.

Re: Chart To Show Room Assignment

    User3, Welcome to OZgrid.

It seems to me you have the very answer you need with the example from Lacher's link.
Have you made any effort to adapt this to your situation?

Hi AAE thank you so much for your response.
Infact I am not expert of VBA (coding) and I don't know how to modify the code. I will be grateful to you if you put the code in the attached file with proper modifications.

(One more thing which I missed to mention in previous post that I am using Excel 2007)

Thank you for your help and spending time to solve my problem.
