  • to copy and paste, leaving out the hidden rows!

    Hello,
    Despite that I can print a sheet includes hidden rows or columns , as I can leave out those hidden columns or raws, but I can not copy from the same sheet these apparent rows and columns only , regardless those hidden columns and rows !!
    As the result (which I do not want) I've to paste all the hidden and apparentcolumns and rowsto gother.!!

    Hi Lion,

    May be you can try adding 'auto-filter' to your data and try copying pasting.

      Thank you Meg
      But in this case I do'nt think that I can solve this matter, especially that I have thousands of hidden rows !
      if only I have a choise to select the only apparent rows.!
      thank you again ..

            Hi,

            Try this.
            Sub MyCopyPaste()

            Dim rngCopy As Range

            With Worksheets("Copy from")
            Set rngCopy = .Range("A1:F" & .Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row).SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible)
            End With

            rngCopy.Copy
            With Worksheets("paste to")
            .Activate
            .Range("A1").Activate
            .Paste Link:=True
            End With
            End Sub

            Cheers
            Andy

              To do this manually, select the range to copy (including hidden rows) and push F5 then click Special and check Visible cells only - Ok. Now copy/paste
