  • CountIF Not Blank

    Is there a way to use Countif to count non blank spaces.

    I have tried many variations in the criteria, including:

    =countif(e14:e20,"<>"""), =countif(e14:e20,"<>isblank()"), etc.

    None seem to work.

    Am I missing something?

    =COUNTIF(E14:E20,"<>")

        this code work very well :

        With Worksheets("sheet1")
        MsgBox WorksheetFunction.CountA(.Range("A1", .Range("A65536").End(xlUp)))
        End With

          1. Why answer a question that is 10 years old?

          2. Why use VBA when a formula exists, and in fact has already been suggested?

          You would be better reading the Forum Rules than spending time on an old question. That way you would know about using Code Tags!
          Hope that Helps
