    Hi,

    in cell D2

    =SUM(C$2:C2)/SUM($C$2:$C$20)

      Hi,

Try this formula in D2 and then drag down.
Notice the use of relative and absolute ($) references.

      D2: =SUM($C$2:C2)/SUM($C$2:$C$20)

      Cheers
      Andy

        Hi Andy and Jindon

It is throwing me errors for the absolute ref:

Which reference? Maybe add an absolute before the second C in Andy's formula.

          D2: =SUM($C$2:$C2)/SUM($C$2:$C$20)

Are you using R1C1 references in Excel? Check:

Tools > Options > General (tab). In upper left corner, be sure R1C1 is UNchecked.

Select that cell, and move the cursor to the lower right corner of the cell. It will turn into a darker black cross hair. Then left click and hold down, and drag down as many rows as you want. Then release the mouse button. Each cell should be filled with the appropriate formula. The formula Andy gave will adjust for the cells position relative to the whole.
