  • Multipage controls

    Hi

I had a multipage which can have n number of pages. in first page i have up to 10 comboboxes and by pressing a button i can copy the entire elements to a new page but with comboboxes change i need to display the change event as a caption for a label which i placed outside the multipage.

I need to display the caption of the label which ever combobox and whichever page I was on.

Your help in this matter is much appreciated.

    Re: Multipage controls

This is a very specific request and not generic at all. Suggest you upload a sample workbook showing a before and after scenario with specific details explained clearly and succinctly.

      Re: Multipage controls

      Hi Alan
      Thanks for the reply.
I am a beginner in VBA and was trying to learn as much as I can.
I searched a forum and got a code for dynamically copy elements to new pages in multipage. But the dropdown items which are in the previous page are not there in the new page.

Attached the file for your reference.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

        Re: Multipage controls

This line will cause an error

        Code:
        UserForm1.Hide
Your UserForm is not called UserForm1, change that code to
        Code:
        Me.Hide
CheckBox1 does not appear to exist.

st1 is not declared. What is it supposed to be

Do your calculations work? I doubt it because if they are using entries on the form then they need converting to a numeric value using Val or maybe cDbl
        Hope that Helps

          Re: Multipage controls

          Hi Roy

          Thanks for the reply.

the form is used to capture page wise details, so the first combobox is for the items and the second one is for the number of items in that page. the label right to that will reflect the time taken for that item multiplied by the number of item
example - item A which requires 5 mins to complete and in page one the A is repeated 5 time then the label will show 25 mins
for this the hours, mins and sec are derived.
Also for saving the multipage how do I find out the name of the combobox in the second sheet which is created dynamically?

          Thanks in advance.

            Re: Multipage controls

The best way is to name the controls as you create them
            Hope that Helps
