    Count Unique Values by category
    mohammedismail
    Hey Guys

    Can you please help me count unique values by Category. But the catch is if the product is already there in Batch1 it should not be counted in the Batch2. It should count only the unique values in Batch 2 which are not part of Batch 1 and 3. Same with Batch3.. the products must not repeat in Batch 1 or 2.

    Please find the sample sheet attached and also the desired output which I got using the pivot table....

    US$20 to Automate Crew Roster
    DiogoCuba
    Hi, I have a Crew Roster that controls the crew changes of a certain vessel and I would like to automate it to avoid wasting time with manual copy and paste.

    Anybody willing to help me?

    Some of the actions I need:
    • Create a Pax list and a Flight Manifest based on the personnel assigned to embark and disembark;
    • Generate a Daily POB based on the names that are onboard (Including the dates of embark and a counter to count how many days the person is onboard);
    • Compare the Daily POB to a criteria to see if the safe manning is compliant or not;
    • Create a PAX LIST for the next 7 days automatically so that I can see who is crew change and who is not - this should be triggered based on the dates;
    • Auto generate Flight Manifest when I click a button and input the

    I am facing an usual problem in the form of Run Time Error 1004: Autofilter method of Range Class failed. Below is my code and this error is occurring on Srng.AutoFilter Field:=2, Criteria1:="=*Express*", Operator:=xlAnd
    It was working fine as of now but when workbook open for the first time, it throws this error, so kindly look into it and let me know how can it be rectified.

    wbNam = ActiveWorkbook.Name
    Set ws = Workbooks(wbNam).Worksheets("7-Non US")

    Choose either number
    Pratibha
    Is there any formula in excel where the function chooses or selects any of the three numbers 10 or 100 or 1000 randomly and not any other number.
    But only these three numbers should be chosen at random either 10 or 100 or 1000 and every time I reset the chosen number should change.
    For eg if one time it it chooses 10 next time it should be either 100 or 1000

    Variable number of rows of data
    legin52
    Hello.
    I am hoping somebody can help me as my knowledge and logic have been exhausted.

    Problem:
    I have a workbook with 2 sheets in it.
    ‘Printer Macro’ from here known as ‘1’
    ‘Printer Header Sheet’ from here known as ‘2’

    A set of data is imported to ‘1’. It occupies columns A to L
    However the number of rows occupied changes each time the project is run and it is this that is causing me problems.
    What I am trying to achieve is:
    Step1: Select A:L from row 1. Copy the data. Go to ‘2’ and paste (values and format) into cell A2 of this sheet. Then print sheet ‘2’.
    Step 2: Repeat Step 1 but with Row 2 (A:L from ‘1’). Then paste into the same cell as step 1 (i.e. A2 of sheet ‘2’). Then print sheet ‘2’
    This repeats for...
