You can tell which cell is the Active cell via the Name Box (left of the formula bar)
Hi,
I have an embedded chart on my worksheet.I can select a cell behind the chart using the keyboard arrow keys.Is there a way of doing this using a mouse click,so that I know which cell i am pointing to/choosing?

I know that. What I want to do is point the mouse cursor on the cell (which is behind the chart. The chart has no solid fill,so I can see the value of that cell) and activate that cell. However when I do that the chart gets selected instead of the cell.At presesent I have to use the keyboard arrow keys to select a particular cell behind the chart from outside the chart area.I thought thare might be a key and mouse combination sequence to select the cell.
Nope.Is there a way of doing this using a mouse click,so that I know which cell i am pointing to/choosing?
Thanks.I suspected so.
