Is this to warn people about using code tags, or to actually try to wrap code with tags? The latter seems much harder ...

It is the former for the very reason you mention!

It checks for code tags. If not found then it checks for:

If xxx Then 
    Sub xxx(xxx) 
        Function xxx(xxx) 
            Dim xxx 

and if found pops up the message.

It would be nice if the pop-up had a two-step graphic: Select your code (picture of some code selected in a frame); Push this button (picture of entry frame with an arrow pointing to the code button).

Also, this won't run until user presses Submit or Preview, right?
