Reminder: Past Due Date

Hi All,

I want to create an Excel file, which would create alerts/reminders based on dates specified in certain cells.

Basically, I want to create a database of various events ( for ex. Invested in XYZ stock at $10 per share ) and put a date in one of the column of each record. I want excel to remind me to take a look at that record after, say, 30 days.

How I should go about it?
