    Pivot tables - preserve borders

    Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how to preserve borders in the PivotTable, so that you would not have to redraw them after every refreshing of the data?

don't arbitrarily select the range with your mouse

put the cursor at the top (if column) or left (if row) and a little dark arrow will appear. click once and now chnage border. that will stick when you refresh.

if you cant get the arrow to appear, right click and select 'enable selection' twice.

i think you can also save such a custon view because excel still messes up these things sometimes.
