    Compiling VBA to .exe file (creating own library)

    I seen a VBA code in .xla format. Now it should be installed first creating own folder and then extract and refer to .dll file to run it.
    Can I do that too in all excel programs tools I made? It should be look like installer first where it will extract the .xla (add-in file)first and refer to .dll before it run)

    Here is the sample codes in .xla referring to .dll file in order to work.

    VB:
    Declare Function Dimensioner Lib "C:\Program Files\cleardim\dimensioner.DLL" ( _
    ByVal Block As Double, ByVal Voice As Double, ByVal Video As Double, _
    ByVal Videoce As Double, ByVal Csdata As Double, ByVal Csdatace As Double, _
    ByVal Csdatarate As Double, ByVal Pstghput1 As Double, ByVal Psdata1 As Double, _
    ByVal Psdatace1 As Double, ByVal Psdatarate1 As Double, ByVal Pstghput2 As Double, _
    ByVal Psdata2 As Double, ByVal Psdatace2 As Double, ByVal Psdatarate2 As Double, _
    ByVal Psthput3 As Double, ByVal Psdata3 As Double, ByVal Psdatace3 As Double, _
    ByVal Psdatarate3 As Double) As Double

    VB:
    Sub addins()
    End Sub

    VB:
    Sub DImensionerMacro()

    End Sub

    How can i do this also. Like prepare .dll file tie-up with my .xls program or .xla.
    Hope somebody can help me to do it too. Can it be done in Visual Basic?
    What's the steps?

    I want to do this to patent the tools I made for me.

    Thanks a lot!
