Label data point in Scatter chart

Dear Sir,

I've got the scatter chart in sample file but I can't put the name of sale man for each data point. I'va created this chart to group sale men in each quater for efficient analysis.
Please help!Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You can link data labels to cells in order to display the Names.
Select the series and add data labels, display values.
Now select each data label individually. Goto the formula bar and then click the cell to link to. This should add a formula like =Sheet1!$A$1

Dear Andy,

I'm sorry for my excel skill. I've follow your guide but it change the name of Chart only . E.g when I change it to =Sheet1!$A$6 the chart title change to John?
Could you please demo it in the file and send it back to me with more clear guide?Thanks!

Click a data label once. Then click it again and see the formula bar.

Check this explanation as well. It's for the chart title but the prinicple is the same.

Btw, in case we have so many data points how can we do this automatically via VBA or any other ways?
