    Bad Date Calculation using TODAY, VLOOKUP, Index Table

    I'm getting a bad date calculation and bad total using a combination of the following: TODAY, VLOOKUP and Indexing a table...

    Please see attached to see a small sample of what I'm trying to accomplish and see the problem.....within the Letter Date, the Expiration Date and Total # of Days columns.

    I really appreciate any clarification you can provide to fix the problem with Col G and H.

    Re: Bad Date Calculation using TODAY, VLOOKUP, Index Table

    Hi, Chris,

    Try this in A8:

    =VLOOKUP(A8,CUST_Table,2,FALSE)+TODAY()-(TODAY()-F8)

    Software: OpenOffice 3.0/NeoOffice 3.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.6
    Humanware: Older than dirt

    Old, slow, and confused - but at least I'm inconsistent!

    I din't check any further, so you may want to test more. Just in case...
