HLOOKUP of text with multiple criteria

How can I horizontally lookup text from a table (using index match) with 2 conditions.

    This is my data set

    Name Mexico UK USA France
    Andy R R G A
    Sarah R R G R
    James A A A G
    John R G G A

I want to pick out the letter from the table based on Name and Country. Eg., James / UK would return "A".

    Many thanks

    Try something like this:

    =INDEX(B2:E5, MATCH(ChosenName, A2:A5, 0), MATCH(ChosenCountry, B1:E1, 0))
    Best Regards,
