Use Insert, Hyperlink, then point to the Excel workbook you want displayed. When you close Excel, you automatically return to the PowerPoint slide containing the hyperlink.
I need to put together a powerpoint presentation and I have an excel file I'd like to use as part of the presentation. Is it possible assign a macro to open excel from powerpoint, and viceversa? Going back to powerpoint wouldn't ba a big issue since it would already be open ("Application.activatemicrosoftapp xlmicrosoftpowerpoint" I think), but can I open a closed excel file from powerpoint??
Another option (that i don't like so much) is to have excel running before I start the powerpoint presentation, but I will need to access 3 or 4 different excel files, so opening the files is better than activating them.
Any Ideas?? (Is this the wrong forum for this question??)
