Re: Match Date and return corresponding data.
HI,
Copy into cell sheet2!B2, fill down.
=IF(ISNA(INDEX(Sheet1!$B$1:$D$162,MATCH(Sheet2!A2,Sheet1!$D$1:$D$162,0),1)), " ", INDEX(Sheet1!$B$1:$D$162,MATCH(Sheet2!A2,Sheet1!$D$1:$D$162,0),1))
Select area sheet1 B1:D162, on the formulas tab select name manager and name this range. Do the same for range sheet1 D1:D162. Once you have named these ranges replace them in the above fomula with the names you just assigned.
After doing this you will be able to add new data by using the insert row function and the named range will automaticaly update to include the row in the range and will not have to wory about the formula breaking down as your data grows.
