Given you are clearly more 'together' than previous individuals, it wouldn't be the end of the world if the job were completed tomorrow. Basically, I need to be able to run a fully functioning tool on Tuesday morning.

Well, we could comment the code for the LV, and then revert from LB if you think you have to. As for the Enter event, I can assure you as soon as the focus was on the LB, the highlighted item will display in the product info filed. And, just to be sure, can you reiterate exactly what should the original requirement encompass? That is, precisely what should I be doing?

I appreciate the confidence. I will go through the existing code also, and see if I can iron out any apparent anomalies that I see (if there are any that is). But my priority would be to work on the original objective first.

On the Product list, I have actually added a dynamic range that can expand till 10000 rows. And this will automatically updated in the LB because of the dynamic range.

I am starting to work on the LB to ensure you don't loose out on any functional aspects of the tool. But I repeat, can you list down everything that I should be covering, so that you and I know what is expected.

Okay, LV behaves as follows:

1. If using "Code Search" displays results based on a search of column "A" in "Products"
2. If using "Description Search" displays results based on a search of Column "B" in Products
3. Tab down to LV from search box and as each product is highlighted, all relevant fields in Frame "Product Details" are populated with their respective values.

I put the Enter event code in becuase in the original file, when I first tabbed into the LV control, the fields in the Frame "Product Details" would not populate - I had to arrow down and then back up again to get it to display the values.

This only happened when I first tabbed into the LV on the very first result. I hope that makes sense.

To put it another way, if I search for a product and the search results in LV narrow to one result. When I tab down to the LV control, I need the product details Frame to populate immediately without any other keystrokes.

Does that make sense?

So if I type Caliper in Description Search, the LV should populate all records that start with Caliper in the description field. Similarly, Code Search for the first field. Is that correct?

The only thing I would clarify is in the description search it returns all results that INCLUDE the search string, whereas with the code search, it returns all results that START with the search string. You should see the additional * wildcard in the description search code?

Your Products list has a lot of duplicates. Should I delete those?

It doesn't matter really as it's a dummy list. The duplicates were to see how excel handles the 6000 lines.
