Cells locked after Protection

I have created macros on sheet, and unlocked few cells which I am considering as input. After protecting this sheet, first time unlocked cells are accepting data. After copying data and ran the macro, got the result. After getting results, these unlocked cells turned to locked automatically. Can anybody provide solution for this.

Hi Chkirankumar:

All formats in the cells being copied will paste to the cells where you are pasting. So the cells you are copying has the format "Locked".

After pasting your data into the cells, unlock the cells again and save.

i have copied data from a website into Excel cells. I am using this sheet for automation, everytime i cannot unprotect and protect. Protection is required for avoiding changes by other users.
