Hi all,

It's true, The Devil makes work for idle thumbs.

After answering a recent thread, look here, about displaying a progress meter whilst executing some lengthy code I decided to experiment.

The example contains various design alternatives for displaying your progress.

Hope you find this useful.

Cheers
Andy

Re: Progress meters on steriods !

Well first you need a userform with a progress meter on it. Just copy one of the tabs in Andy's example

Then just use the relevant tab's code i.e.

VB: AutoLinked keywords will cause extra spaces before keywords. Extra spacing is NOT transferred when copy/pasting, but IS if the keyword uses "quotes".
Sub DemoProgress1() ' ' Progress Bar ' Dim intIndex As Integer Dim sngPercent As Single Dim intMax As Integer intMax = 100 For intIndex = 1 To intMax sngPercent = intIndex / intMax ProgressStyle1 sngPercent, chkPg1Value.Value DoEvents '------------------------ ' Your code would go here '------------------------ Sleep 100 Next End Sub

Placing the relevant piece of code within the loop

Re: Progress meters on steriods !

onowahoo, you are off to a bad start.

1) This forum states no questions
2) No use of code tags altough you agreed to use them, among many other things, when joining.

I'm going to delete all post below your question. Please use the correct forum for Excel/VBA questions and when posting code use code tags.
