Why can't you use Conditional Formatting for this, using the formula option?
I am new to the forums, and somewhat new to using VBA.
What I would like to do: On sheets "TeamAvg" and "IndividualAvg" with given data in B3:K118, I need help creating a macro that will highlight(format the color/style) the cell containing the minimum value for each row of data(rows 3-118). Some rows are likely to have blank cells, and some rows may have two cells of the same value which happen to be the minimum value(s).
The data in the range of B3:K118 is constantly being updated through another macro I created to input averages. I just need the minimum value of the averages in each row highlighted.
Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
The formula might be: =A3=MIN($A3:$J3)
You didn't specify how many columns your row spans so adjust the formula as needed.
To apply the CF:
Beginning with the first celll ont he row (say A3), select all cells on the row, then invoke the CF dialog box and select the formula option.
After entering the formula and specifying the format options for the conditon, close the CF dialog, then copy and pastespecial (format) the row to which you just applied the CF. You can also use the Format Painter to do this.
