Sometimes in a spreadsheet you may we wish to convert numeric values into text and then perform certain calculations. Using this tool you can do this, and hide your formulas with the click of a button.
We have a selected range that we wish to convert into text. We click on the tool to be able to perform the task.
If any of the cells have a formula, the tool will detect it and it will ask if you wish to continue. After we confirm the task, we will see the results:
To undo the changes we simply click on the Excel undo button.
