Excel 2007 Specifics. MicroCharts enhances your Excel chart library with sparklines, bullet graphs and other in-cell charts. Charts are created from MicroCharts fonts that consists of bars, line segments and pies. A chart is represented as text that is formatted with the MicroCharts fonts. Dynamic chart formulas update your charts when a depending cell value changes.
Simply use the MicroCharts formulas like all other Excel formulas
For richer formatting, use colored MicroCharts. The formatting parameters are set with the MicroCharts user interface. Just double-click your formula to open the formatting interface:
MicroCharts formulas can take advantage of Excel's rich set of financial and statistical functions. Use the PERCENTILE() formula to calculate the 10%- and 90%-percentile limits of the normal band, a range that indicates the "normal" range of values:
=ColoredSparkLine(...,PERCENTILE(B5:M5,10%),PERCENTILE(B5:M5,90%))
Since MicroCharts are basically text you can use the rich Excel formatting capabilities to format MicroCharts:
