6 Easy Steps
1) Choose your Stock or Index
Enter the Symbol or Ticker for the stock, and hit get quote .
Note: you may enter in any symbol you wish - even if there is not a matching
entry for the company or index name. Occasionally, a newly listed option may not
yet be in the Option Crawler database, but you may still have Option Crawler
search the internet for option chains.
2) View Option Chain
After downloading is completed and Option Crawler has computed all valuations,
the entire option chain quote may be viewed, either by Puts, or by Calls. Start building your strategy by clicking on an option.

4) Study Profit Loss Profile
See the break even points and estimated profit/loss of your strategy at
expiration. This graph builds as you build your strategy to give you an instant
read on whether is makes sense. But as you are likely to want to close out your
strategy prior to expiration, you still want to test it for dates prior to
expiration
5) What-if Testing of Strategy
Play what if scenarios out by seeing what your strategy will be worth on dates
in the future if the stock (or index) is at a particular price. You don't want
to hold your strategy until expiration - what will it be worth next week if the
stock rises $1. Here's where you find out.
You can go back and revise the strategy, delete it and Start over again, or if
happy, save it for continued testing and monitoring.
6) Save Strategy
When you are satisfied with your strategy - you can save it to a portfolio -
indicating your actual purchase price. You can then open the strategy at any
time to monitor it's current value, or to try additional testing.
