From the accounts screen you can customize your book-keeping system by stipulating the ledger accounts that best fit your circumstances.
You can have 10 main expense ledger accounts and 3 for receipts, which in turn can hold an unlimited number of sub-category ledger accounts allowing you total flexibility within the software.
Accounts can be marked as "taxable" by checking the "Tax is claimed on this account" and only transactions using those accounts will be included in the Profit and Loss and Rental Summary reports
All your transaction entries can be reconciled to your bank statement through the Bank Accounts screen. This is a quick way to ensure you haven't missed any income or expenditure from your bank account and improves the accuracy of your records.
The reconciliation history tab shows all the bank statements that PC Property Manager has been reconciled with for future reference.
All contact details for your Tenants, trades people, service professionals, mortgage brokers and anyone else involved with your property investment can be easily found in the electronic address book.

A large number of reports ensures that any information you want to get out of PC Property Manager is obtainable.
Reports can be filtered by Owner or Property or Tenancy.
Commonly used timeframes can be quickly selected or you can specify the exact
timeframes you want.
Transactions reports can be filtered by Ledger Account.
Reports can be exported so they can be given to your Chartered Accountant and there is a special Cash Book Export which shows the ledger account for every transaction in a cash book format.
PC Property Manager gives you the choice of reporting formats, a standard plain paper format, or through your browser. The browser based reports are also excellent because they can be easily emailed.
