Field searches
To perform searches in fields, click the "Search in field" button. This window appears:
To perform a search, choose a field and a condition (=,>,<,>=,<=, like) and insert the search string. Click on the "Add" button. Your search parameters will be inserted on the grid. To add another condition, make the same operation another time. Click the Ok button to Start the search.
Search Results
After you perform a Full-Text or a Field search, Find Desktop
returns a list of results. You can choose a file from this list to see the results
directly highlighted on the file (electronic or image file). For every file,
Find Desktop gives back the path and the number of hits for the searched terms.
The words or the sentences are highlighted. To see the highlights, use the command
.
By clicking with the right mouse button, you can see the Print List Menu. This menu is only available for image files

For electronic files, you will have the standard Explorer menu
