Quick Charts™ for Excel is a menu driven Excel workbook that allows you to construct a graph of one row of data and then to easily change from one row of data to another using the Quick Charts™ toolbar. It is a great management tool for auditing performance versus goals or for viewing trends in data.
With Quick Charts™, you only have to construct one graph to graphically see many rows of data. Features in Quick Charts™ allow you to insert trend lines and comparison lines. Also, you can differentiate the points on the line - for example the first set of data on a row may represent actual results and the second set future projections. You can even have the trend line apply only to the actual data points. Quick Charts™ is great for anyone who wants to see their data graphically. The following illustrates a typical Quick Chart™:

In the above graph, the solid dots represent known values. The non-solid dots are estimates. (Quick Charts™ asks you if you wish to differentiate data points and displays them in this fashion.) The light blue line is a forecast (goal) of sales. The table of numbers in the upper left is updated whenever a new set of data is graphed (by using the buttons on the toolbar below. The comment also is updated to reflect the comment (optional) for the data being graphed. The comments can be edited on the fly (without leaving the graph) via the C1 and C2 buttons on the Quick Charts™ toolbar. Using the Quick Chart™ toolbar buttons,
you can change the data that is plotted by just clicking on the magenta buttons or using the data selection button (the one to the right of the magenta buttons). You can also switch from one sheet to another using the square green buttons. This way the data being plotted (example: price) on different sheets (example: products or regions) can easily be viewed. And, there are options to allow you to batch print all your data from the chart. The button like a computer window gives you a full screen display of the chart. The button with a line and three columns toggles from a line to a column graph. The C1 and C2 buttons allow easy editing of the comments (which are optional). The Min Max button allows you to set custom minimum and maximum vales (Quick Charts™ by default will set the minimum and maximum Y axis values to maximize the chart to data fit). The last button relocates the table of values (optional also) so that it does not cover up the data being plotted.
