Neural networks are a very complex structure with a large number of neurons (Average of 1250 in Forecaster Standard). The different possible networks are almost infinite and therefore you need a progressive method to approach a solution. With only one hour of training (on Pentium II class PC or equivalent) you can reach acceptable results.
What machine should I use to train my networks faster ?
We personally use Pentium III 700 machines with 128MB of RAM and they do the job perfectly. We recommend as a minimum, a Pentium II 300.
