How can I fill in the full path of an excel worksheet in its footer, using VBA?

Dave Hawley provided the following solution for Excel 2002 (not tested on earlier versions)

You can right click on the Excel icon, top left next to "File", select "View Code" and past in this:

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)

  ActiveSheet.PageSetup.LeftFooter = Me.FullName

End Sub

Or, you can use the code to run in another Procedure.

WillR provides a solution that works in XL2000 (not tested on earlier versions)

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)

Dim fullpath As String
  fullpath = ActiveWorkbook.FullName ActiveSheet.PageSetup.LeftFooter = fullpath End Sub
